My CPU was allowing 1.374v at stock 4.5GHz, this was causing a pretty high temp after 20 mins in P95 or Aida 64+FPU, I lowered the voltage to 1.250 and upped the core to 4.8GHz, still rock solid and now is at 85c after the same test as before. A screwdriver is fine as long as you're not tightening it too much, like using alot of force when its almost totally screwed in. H100i V2 temp questions. [–]Rjbowles 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child), Ya I'd also change the radiator placement. you pump speed is 1770, mine is 2200. your fans 500 rpm are half the speed of mine 1000 rpm, my profile is quiet. As others have said, demount the H100i v2 and remount it with some good TIM. [–]archaegeoi7-7700k@5GHz 1.325 Vcore 32GB@3200MHz 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children). Any benefits to add two fans on the bottom case underneath my gpu ? The thing to remember is the h100i v2 fans are not cooling the CPU, it is cooling the liquid in the line, which doesn't usually get over 40c. If it was me and this just my opinion that case is not well suited for clc but if I had to work with it I would face the fans on the radiator to push air out of the case even though it's not recommended and same when you put in another radiator for the gpu and make sure you have as much air as possible coming in through the front and as long as your max is under 70 I wouldn't worry about it. After installing a total of 7 case fans, replacing the cooler thrice, including 2 AIO (I ended up with a Thermaltake 360 RIING 2X120ml cooler) I ended up reading more and more about delidding solving the issue as the thermal paste shipped with the i7s on the 7 series is not only an inferior product but the application itself is terrible. Also make sure your pump is running at full speed or close to it. During an extended CPU only load, you might see +6-8C increase. You can still reseat the cooler in a prebuilt. If not set your fan curves high and hope for few hot days. You would get better performance with faster, louder fans like the stock fans. It turns out a lot of motherboards will let the CPU get more voltage than it needs. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have this case and a 115i, and can confirm moving the rad helped my temps a lot. [–]Godstuff 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children). The Corsair Link software will allow you to mess with fan curves I believe. Normally you might have a coolant temp of approximately +4-7C above your room temp or equal to the interior case temperature. Only do this if you're confident, there are very good tools out there you can have 3d printed or buy online that make the process near fool proof. Delid'ing will lower your temp by 15-25c, its pretty impressive, but totally unnecessary for most users. Community Statistics.
